"Earning Your Wheels" will provide you the opportunity to earn your National Standard Certificate as a Graduate Professional Truck Driver. This course is a comprehensive 12-week program that will not only train an individual to obtain their Class 1/A license, but also cultivates a professional attitude in students by emphasizing knowledge, attitudes and abilities. Some highlights of the EYW program include:

• Nationally recognized certificate course
• Graduates endorsed by Markel Insurance as having the equivalent of three years over the road experience
• Graduates endorsed by Old Republic Insurance Company of Canada as having the equivalent of one year over the road experience
• Students trained to national standards developed with the Canadian trucking industry

This course is delivered exclusively through CTHRC accredited truck driver training institutes.

Earning Your Wheels is an intensive 12-week program that is shared between 8 weeks in-school training (a minimum of 120 hours of classroom and 85 hours behind the wheel) followed by 4 weeks of supervised workplace experience with a carrier (a minimum of 100 hours behind the wheel).

In many provinces, it is the only truck driver entry-level training program that qualifies students for government financial assistance.

Your instructors and training schools have all met the rigorous national standards established by the CTHRC. They're professionals. They know what they're doing.

Upon completion of the EYW program, the student is presented with a certificate from the CTHRC which states they have been trained to the industry standard.
