Step 2 – Write an Online Exam
Introduction
Congratulations on successfully applying to the CTHRC’s Professional Driver Trainer Certification Program. To continue the certification process you must write an online exam and pass with a grade of at least 80%.
- To ensure the quality of the certification process, the exam will be served only once per person. Applicants that do Not pass may take the exam a second time within the year with CTHRC approval. Contact the CTHRC to learn more.
- The exam will take approximately 45 minutes. Please note that once the exam has started there is no stopping it until all questions have been answered or the system times out.
- A series of 30 questions will be given to you one at a time and you will have 90 seconds to respond to each question.
- If you do not respond in 90 seconds, the system will automatically serve the next question and the missed question will be marked incorrect.
Before beginning the exam, why not look at some practice questions?
- The exam will be given all at once so trainers will Not be able to stop the exam in the middle by clicking elsewhere or closing the window. If this is done, the person will automatically fail the exam.
- Please ensure that you can dedicate up to 45 minutes to complete the exam in-full or you will automatically fail.
- If you would like to take the exam later, simply log out now and come back when you are ready and log in. This will bring you back directly to this page.
