We know the trucking industry because we are part of the trucking industry.

Working in partnership with industry members, the Canadian Trucking Human Resources Council (CTHRC) is a non-profit Council dedicated to making sure your business keeps on trucking. Building on your experience and our expertise, the CTHRC is here to listen to your human resource needs and respond with research, tools, training and HR advice. Our goal is to monitor challenges, help you address them, and position your business to face the changing environment and meet the economic landscape of tomorrow.

National Occupational Standards

Every job requires a specific set of skills, and National Occupational Standards (NOS) from the Canadian Trucking Human Resources Council offer insight into those skills.

These standards – detailed descriptions of the tasks linked to specific jobs -- can be used to identify the needs surrounding human resources and training, evaluate and upgrade employee skills,
